Description
The 1967-1969 Plymouth Valiant earned its reputation as a rugged, no-nonsense compact, and today these A-body Plymouths remain popular with restorers and enthusiasts who appreciate their simplicity and performance potential. The factory dashboard, however, does not age as gracefully as the car's mechanical components. UV exposure and thermal stress cause the vinyl pad to crack and warp across its entire surface over time. This Dashtop molded dash cover is shaped from UV-stable ABS plastic to match the Valiant's specific dash profile, installing directly over your original factory dashboard, which must remain in place to serve as a solid foundation.
Applying the Dashtop overlay is a one-time, permanent upgrade. Use the included silicone adhesive to bond the cover securely to the cleaned original surface. The molded ABS conforms snugly to every factory contour, completely hiding cracks and preventing additional sun damage. Once installed, the dash looks and feels factory-correct with no visible seams or gaps.
