Description
The 1974 Datsun 260Z and 1975-1978 Datsun 280Z continued the Z-car lineage with larger engines, fuel injection, and an updated interior that included a revised dashboard design distinct from the earlier 240Z. These later Z-cars have become highly collectible in their own right, and the factory dash pad suffers the same UV-induced cracking that plagues all vintage Datsuns. This Dashtop dash cover is precision-formed from UV-stable ABS plastic to fit the specific contours of the 260Z/280Z instrument panel, installing directly over the original dashboard.
Clean the dash, apply the included silicone adhesive, and set the Dashtop overlay in place. Once cured, the cover bonds permanently and protects the original pad from further sun damage.
