Description
The 1983-1984 Ford Thunderbird and Mercury Cougar introduced the aerodynamic Fox-platform design that revitalized both nameplates, with the Turbo Coupe becoming an instant performance icon. These cars share an identical dashboard, and the factory vinyl pad is prone to cracking and discoloration after four decades of UV exposure and heat cycling. This Dashtop molded dash cover is precision-formed from UV-stable ABS plastic to match the contours of the 1983-1984 Thunderbird and Cougar instrument panel, installing directly over your original factory dashboard, which must remain in place to serve as a solid foundation.
Clean the existing dash surface, apply the included silicone adhesive, and press the Dashtop overlay into position.
