Description
The Merkur Scorpio was the larger of Ford's two European imports sold through Lincoln-Mercury dealers, based on the Ford Granada/Scorpio from Germany and produced for only two model years in the United States. With fewer than 10,000 units sold in America, the Scorpio is an exceptionally rare car, and finding interior restoration parts is nearly impossible through conventional channels. The factory dashboard suffers from the same UV-induced cracking as any car of this era. This Dashtop molded dash cover is precision-formed from UV-stable ABS plastic to fit the Scorpio's unique instrument panel, installing directly over your original factory dashboard, which must remain in place to serve as a solid foundation.
Apply the included silicone adhesive to the cleaned factory dash and position the Dashtop overlay. Once cured, the bond is permanent and provides a smooth surface that conceals all cracking.
