Description
This dash cover is specifically designed for 1989-1991 Ford Thunderbird and Mercury Cougar models equipped with the optional dashboard-mounted tissue dispenser, a factory luxury feature that requires a uniquely contoured overlay. The MN12-generation interior was a significant step forward in design, but the vinyl dash pad still suffers from the same UV-induced cracking and fading that affects most dashboards of this era. This Dashtop molded dash cover is precision-formed from UV-stable ABS plastic to fit the tissue-dispenser variant of the instrument panel, installing directly over your original factory dashboard, which must remain in place to serve as a solid foundation.
Clean the original dash surface, apply the included silicone adhesive, and set the Dashtop overlay into position. The cover accommodates the tissue dispenser opening and bonds permanently once cured, restoring a smooth appearance while protecting the factory pad from further deterioration.
